Officially I’m still in winter hiatus plugging away at editing my next book, The Other Castle. However, this weekend coming up, I’ll be coming out of hibernation to attend Ad Astra 2016, my first convention for the year.
This year, I’m keeping events to a minimum due to budget constraints and goals which include a focus on working on product, so I’m especially looking forward to reconnecting with all my fellow writers and new friends at Ad Astra 2016, even though The Other Castle will not be available for sale. 🙁
This year, you can find me hanging out at The Self Published Author Meet & Greet, from 1-3pm in Suite 1073, on the Saturday, which should be lots of fun. I am probably the only writer NOT on a panel this year, which is fine by me. I’d rather sit in and listen, as I’m in learning mode these days.
I will have a table in the Exhibitor Hall, and should I ever be at it, I’ll be handing out promo materials along with a limited supply of excerpt booklets for The Other Castle, which contains the first chapter and part of the second chapter. And if you bought The Forgotten Gemstone and are interested in continuing with the trilogy, be sure to stop by the table and receive a special discount coupon.
Most importantly, stop by and enter your name into a draw exclusive to Ad Astra to win one of three autographed print copies of either The Forgotten Gemstone or The Other Castle, your choice. Winners will be contacted via email sometime in June.
Finally, a reminder that I’ve discontinued my newsletter but not the discounts I offered inside it, so if you haven’t picked up a copy of The Forgotten Gemstone yet, be sure to do so before the end of the year.
See you soon,
