Honey Bomb and My Next Author Appearance

Drunk Drone

If you’ve been following me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (which I recently returned to), you may have seen posts mentioning a project that I’ve been collaborating on. Well, it’s true. I’m getting involved in a bit of game development with my husband, artist Sean Chappell, and our friend, Sabrina Scalarini.

We’ve been dropping images and news about the project now again on social media, and I’ve been waiting for a lull in my schedule to make a formal announcement about the project. So, here it is!

Let me tell you a bit about Honey Bomb

It’s a two-player strategy game based on bee culture, because bees are awesome! One player manipulates the worker bees, and the other manipulates the drones. Game play involves hex tiles that resemble honeycombs, and the goal is to dominate the hive.

If you’d like to watch the development of this game and support us during the Kickstarter scheduled for the Spring of 2020, then be sure to follow us on your social media platform of choice(s).

I assure everyone, I’m still writing stories and will let everyone know what to expect in an upcoming post.

Next Author Appearance…

When it comes to appearances, I’m not yet ready to wind down for the year. Coming up next, I’ll be doing a signing at Millpond Records and Books at 4 Queen Street West in Hespeler, ON on October 26 from 10am to 12pm. My books will be available for sale, including my latest release, The Starry Rise.

If you live in Hespeler and read the Book of the Month section in local magazine Neighbours of Hespeler Village, please be advised that the hours listed there were correct at the time of publication but have since been changed due to a scheduling conflict.

Hope everyone can squeeze me into their busy festive Halloween schedules. I’d love to see you there!

PS: I’ll be sending out a reminder announcement closer to the event. 🙂
